Based on the military masterpiece A-2, this piece reworks the original by eliminating ribbed details and constructing it entirely from matching fabric, resulting in a restrained, minimalist appearance that tempers its inherent casualness. A flat elastic is applied at the back hem to introduce subtle shaping, while adjustable button tabs at the front allow for variation in silhouette. Oversized waist pockets serve as a functional accent within the otherwise pared-back design.
A cushion pleat at the back enhances mobility, and a snap-button chin tab at the collar enables wear as a stand collar. The jacket is crafted from cow nubuck leather, achieved by buffing the grain surface of full-grain leather to create a matte, soft hand. More durable than suede, the material develops a refined sheen over time as the nap compresses with continued wear.
